Blog tour content and a competition

Picture
I have a dilemma and I'm looking for help. I have several blog stops booked for the upcoming release of Warrior Pledge and I have to write unique content for each of them. I have a free hand on topics. Writing the content isn't a problem, but choosing different topics for each of them is.

So here's the deal. I want you to help me choose blog topics for five of the stops. You can choose one from the list below, or suggest one of your own. I'll choose five topics to write about. The (up to) five winners will each receive one ebook copy of any book on my backlist. Check the Books tab on this website if you're not sure which book you'd like.

Here's the list I have so far (shamelessly adapted from one provided by Pride Promotions in 2014). You're welcome to choose one of those or suggest something completely different.
  1. List things you’ll never do again.
  2. A list of all the things that make you happy – this better be a long one.
  3. A list of benefits gained by attending a conference.
  4. Character interviews (this would require questions on your part).
  5. A series of articles that explore non-fiction topics you write about in your fictional work.
  6. A free short story, deleted chapter, character sketch. (If you'd like to see this one, suggest which one.)
  7. What you learned from a big disappointment.
  8. What inspires you, or what makes you crazy.
  9. Critical life events or choices that have shaped who you are.

I like #5. But the non-fiction topics would have to be cool ones, like plasma guns or space travel or time travel. Nobody ever said it had to be easy! ;)

Reid: I'll have to check the research I've done while writing books. Off the top of my head, there's positrons, magnetic field - strength and fluctuations, global warming, hydraulics, laser weaponry, retractable claws, chromosomes, gender identity. And that's only from two books. My research on plasma guns consisted mostly of watching reruns of Star Trek. That counts, right?
